“On the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 Art2Action, Greenwich House Music School, The New York City AIDS Memorial, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, and Village Preservation held A Village Gathering at The New York City AIDS Memorial Park. It was as a space for reflection, remembrance, and creative expression…Performances included music by Scott Johnson and Victor Caccese, James Scruggs’ new work Severe Clear, excerpts from Andrea Assaf’s Eleven Reflections on September, and Ash Morinaccio’s 20 Years Later project, hosted by emcee Troy Anthony.”

Rhubarb

Set in a theatre audience, Rhubarb is a short film about overheard conversations. With most of the film’s stylized and surreal dialogue heard off-screen, Rhubarb comments on the ways we receive language and how we judge each other and art.
When the show is disrupted by a problematic audience member, those who heard the confrontation have to decide if they feel safe speaking up or safer pretending they don’t know. What does it mean to be a viewer, an audience member, and a witness?
